Ok Heating and Air Conditioning has put together a list of fun things to do this 4th of July in the East Bay area. If you’re not sure what to do yet, have a look at what we’ve gathered up and you’ll be making plans for sure.
The Alameda County Fair
Enjoy the Spirit of Summer at the Alameda County Fair. There’s plenty to do here for everyone, whether you’re bringing a date, or the whole family – you won’t be at a loss for things to do. Take in live music and enjoy an amazing fireworks show on the 4th! Tickets start at $20.
Benecia Picnic in the Park & Fireworks
A wonderful way to spend the 4th, grab the family, some blankets, and your picnic basket and head down to the park to spend the day with live entertainment and stuff for the kids. After the sun goes down enjoy the fireworks show! Admission is free.

El Cerrito worldOne Fourth of July Festival
You can’t beat a show like this for an admission-free event. The lineup is bigger than most paid-for concerts! Not limited to just live music, enjoy the food, family activities, and then the fireworks after dark!

Fourth of July at Berkeley Marina
There’s nothing like fireworks over the water after a full day of fun. Take in the live music, arts and crafts, let the kids run wild in the children’s play area and have fun on the pony rides. The fun starts at noon and runs until 10 pm.
Festival of Family Fun
It’s hard to beat a petting zoo, carnival games, and live music for family fun. Come down to Jack London Square in Oakland at 11 am and have fun all day long. Best of all, attendance is free!
San Jose Fireworks
Head over to San Jose for a fantastic fireworks display and music from by Symphony Silicon Valley, put on by the Rotary Club of San Jose. Fireworks are at 9:30 pm and the music starts at 5:30. Admission is free.
Downtown Livermore Family Fun & Fireworks Celebration
Join the city of Livermore as they celebrate Independence day Downtown. Full of family fun, great restaurants, and shopping specials, enjoy the day around town before the fireworks show at night. Attendance is free but parking is not.
